Terror on Tracks

Can anyone spot the difference?

Yeah, I have removed the 2 Lions by the sides, and pulled the white stripes all the way to the root-top. I think it looks much better now, compared to yday's. Look fiercer and more terror.

Had a great jog around bedok reservoir with my parents today. I am glad my parents are leading a healthy life-style now.

Sincerely, I do not mind having a failed and wrecked romance life, in exchange of harmony at home.

Most expensive Mod

Did another cosmetic mod on my partner today, but a costly one.

The white tapes cost only $12, but during the process of getting them up on my bonnet, i lost my cashcard which worth much more (but i duno the exact amt) *ouch*

I was trying to use the cashcard to scrap away the air bubbles trapped underneath the stickers, and i forgot to retreive it back after placing on my van roof. I guess it dropped off as i drove my van away.

Anyway, i am not trying to copy the mini cooper, neither am i trying to imitate the VW bettle, but i always adore the Dodge Viper! I think minis and bettles are the real copycats.

Fridays are all booked

Lately i have volunteered my service to the Singapore Prisons. As shown in the pic are 2 case files which i received yesterday. I will be visiting these 2 18-yr-old boys soon in the prisons and try my best to befriend them. I will also be accompanying my mentor to the Changi Prisons, where she will be conducting lessons to the immates. I will be observing and understudying her.

Coincidentally, my mentor is a buddhist herself, who personally knows Siufong aka Peifen. We were so excited when the 3 of us (plus another cohort mate) realised we are fellow buddhists.

Oh thanks to yeeling for including my pic in the coming LOW (LOW as in Lamp of Wisdom, not LOW WeiZheng, whom i know is also reading my blog, hehe). Not tt i desperately need attention or want publicity, but i jus feel pleasantly good to be still connected to the society in this manner. The funny thing is i dun even remember i attended the event which my pic was captured - it shows i have attended countless of NUSBS events, even yrs after i graduated.

My fridays are so fully booked:

1) Last fri - torn between CDC meeting and 1st DC for the sem

2) Coming fri - NUSBS Welcome Tea (event which i have been attending annually since yr2000)

3) Next fri - torn between NUSBS old folks gathering (there will be 12-13 of us attending) and NUSBS AGM (event which i have been attending since 2000 also).

Old habits die hard

This evening I was supposed to attend a CDC kickoff meeting to discuss about organising a Heritage Trail for the central community. However, I decided to go ahead for NUSBS 1st Dharma Circle of the semester, thinking that I will be able to contribute more for the latter.

Indeed, the feeling back 'home' is nice, although almost 1/2 of the faces were new to me. I am not sure how the participants in my grp felt, but hopefully they enjoyed and learn something from one another's sharings. Was trying to help psycho a few yr2s to run the 28th MC, plus helping Robbie to persuade some newbies to sign up for the memberships. Robbie was impressed and told me he must learn to speak like me.... haha, but frankly speaking, i have chosen not to do 'such 'job' for quite sometime.. Well, something jus ticked me this evening to get me moving again - old habits die hard.

The very first qn Albert asked me today was " hey, have you found yourself a gf??". I was momentarily dumbfolded, and i really didnt know how to answer. It took him sometime to recollect my series of MSN nicks, before he apologised for asking me the 'wrong qn'. Haha, tts so cute and funny of him manz...

Siling said he is going to treat me lunch (first pay lunch). Everyone here pls be my witness...

无法去爱

Was having lunch with my colleagues when we touched on the topic of love.

Sometimes, you wonder whether you have already lost the ability to love due to past bad experience; Or you have grown up with experience and learn how to take things slow; Or the person you have met is simply not the right person. Perhaps its the combination of all three.

Isnt it scary if one has lost his capability to love again....

This week has been very busy. We started building our first ever notebook in Singapore. Spent most of my time wearing the safety smog walking around the production line.

But i ended my day great with a long jog at Macritchie Park with my colleagues. Altogether, there were 10 of us jogging. It was really fun :)

Speechless.....

I have nothing to write, but i have loaded a new song to my blog.

Nice song and well sung i must say.... but the lyrics do not represent how i feel now though :)

Thanks to OWY for posting the URL on his msn. I happened to click on it and found myself finish watching the entire "Green Forest, My Home" idol drama - my first ever watched ou xiang ju.

Since i am never a sucker for romance, i do not feel much watching the romance part. But i feel touched by the scenes where the kids encouraged one another in the race, and their gratitude for their teachers. The rest of the scenes were simply too exaggerating and fairy-tale-like, haha. And yes, i think the male actors are more gorgeous than the female leads. Taiwan doesn have more chio gals than this one meh? haha..

No more a lousy host

Jane was asking me when will i ever stop to being a lousy host. I shall end it tonite and become a vain pot instead. Yeaps, beside loving to take pics of the nature, i do enjoy taking self pics too.

Have decided to compile all those self pics i have taken over the past few mths in 2006. Well, my life has taken an exciting roller coaster ride.

If you find it gross, jus simply move your cursor to the top right X button, and click your mouse! Hahaha.....

I am a lousy host

During my break-up down period, I am fortunate to have known this Taiwan friend - a buddhist brother, Ben. I have invited him over to Sg and has agreed to host him over his stay in Sg. Unfortunately, I have been a very bad host :(

This is the 2nd time i am hosting an overseas friend. The previous time was when i was in NUS yr1 - i hosted a friend from Cananda and i thought i did a much better job then.

Anyway, we had Lena and Joe joining us for lunch today. We had a great time :D
